The Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) along with Indian Federation of Culinary Associations organized Chef Awards 2011 at Hotel Ashok on the occasion of International Chef day. There were15 different categories of awards that were presented to winning chefs at the award ceremony. The evening was inaugurated by Honorable Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahay and few of the important people present in the evening includes Anil Bhandari (Chairman, Organising committee) Amitabh Kant, Chef Devender Kumar, Chef Manjeet Gill, Samant Chauhan & Romsha, Charu & Anupam Parasher, Madhu Jain, Reema Abassi, Vani Tripathi and few more. Adding on to the comments Shri Subodh Kant Sahay stated that he would write a letter to the PM for incorporating the Chef category to Padmashri Awards.
